Florin Maxa
(1943, Teiuș, România - lives and works in Cluj-Napoca)
Florin Maxa, an artist with an impressive career (from the first forms of art on the computer in the 70s, to the geometries of today), and at the same time prestigious professor at the University of Art and Design in Cluj (until 2012), author of numerous studies in fine arts - The art of the 20th between legitimacy and de-legitimating, Ostensiunea. Comprehensiune și accept, Hermeneutica lui Schleiermacher - internationally recognized, awarded with the order "Cultural Merit" in the rank of Grand Officer (2004). His most recent exhibitions include "Play dice would be nice" (Gaudel de Stampa gallery, Paris, 2012) and "Modern Talking", curator Nicola Trezza (Museum of Art Cluj, 2012).
