Bogdan Ghiu was born on the 5th of July 1958. He is a poet, essayist, critic and theoretician (literature, arts, media), translator. Duras, Annie Le Brun etc. He can be heard daily on Radio Romania Cultural (national Romanian radio station) and read weekly in Observatorul cultural (national Romanian newspaper).
