City Business Centre, the business hub of the Western side of Romania, will be hosting exhibitions within the Art Encounters biennale and will serve as binder between the corporate and artistic environment of the city.

City Business Centre is a class A office building complex, located in the central part of the city, consisting of 5 buildings with an area of 43.000 square meters for office spaces. The emergence of these buildings has settled the frame for an European corporate environment for top multinational companies, becoming, since its first opening in 2007, the core of the business hub for the West side of Romania.

From the very beginning, City Business Centre assumed the role of providing more than simple office spaces. By using wide open areas, located both inside the buildings and in the public squares that emerged between the five buildings, in various cultural activities over the years, Ovidiu Şandor, the developer of the project and the President of the Art Encounters foundation, aimed to bring the citizens in Timişoara closer to the art phenomenon.

In 2010, City Business Centre was awarded Green Building of the Year by the Romanian Green Building Council and Office Development of the Year by EuropeProperty.com
