Matei Lăzărescu
(1948, București, România - lives and works in Bar sur Aube, France)
Matei Lăzărescu studied painting at the Institute of Fine Arts "Nicolae Grigorescu" Bucharest and was present at the personal and group exhibitions in Romania, Germany, Italy and France.
The most important solo exhibitions: 1976 "Der Körper strahlende" Erfurt, Germany; 1978 Horizon Gallery, Bucharest; 1985 "La nautre them corps, the world 'Puits de l'Orme Gallery, Párizs, France; 1990 "Photomorphpses" Puits de l'Orme Gallery, Paris, France; Romanian Cultural Institute from 1993 to 1994 in Venice, Italy. The artist is part of the art group Prolog.
